Conflict With Hoster Files In Microstudio

While in Microstudio, I used the browse button to open karaoke files that are on my computer. There are two places: (1) C:\MTU\Songs and (2) G:\MTU\Hoster\Karaoke. The tracks on the C: drive are .bin files that will play in microstudio. The tracks on my G: drive (external drive) are .kma files and some of them will play in Microstudio and some will not play.

When I move the G: drive files to the play area some of the files are not able to open. I noticed that the ones that won't open are ones I deleted from my external drive when I used "edit songs" in Hoster.

So how do I change the list in Hoster so it is a listing of my actual files on the external drive, and not a listing of files which include file that were edited in Hoster. I can delete the files when they are opened in Microstudio, but I have to try to open them to determine which ones will not play in order to know to delete them. .

Thanks,
Wes

Wes,
When you brows to a folder in Microstudio, if that folder was opened previously in Microstudio before you deleted the files In Hoster then they will still appear as if they are there, what you need to do is open the folder and press the refresh button.
I think this is the problem you are having.

Wes, The problem is Microstudio uses a txt file to index a folder, where Hoster uses it's database to do this. Since you deleted the files with edit in Hoster then Hoster knew of the changes, but Microstudio doesn't know unless you refresh that txt file from Microstudio. I have done this myself many times...short term memory isn't what it used to be.:g
