Add Song From Playlist to Singer Database?

Is there an easier way to add a song from a playlist directly to a singer database? From my understanding I would need to open the search box, type in the book id (I'd use the book id from the playlist because I liked that version), hit enter then chose the singer database, click to select the song then click the yellow S+. This would also add it to the playlist and the song would then need to be deleted from the playlist.

I know this can be done at the time the song is searched but there are many time someone (or even myself) hears a song and says I want to sing that..add it to my list.

I just add it like you described. No way to do it directly from the playlist.

To save a few keystrokes to what you are doing try this:
Use the Add Singers & Songs Dialog right at the top Of Hosters main page
Highlight tab BookID
1: Enter bookID in window
2: Enter singers Name in box below it (this should only be nececerry the first time if doing a lot all the same singer)
3: Press the S+ button below that
4: clear songs from playlist after compiling your list if you want to.

Thanks Roy. That is much simpler. Have used that section when reentering a song that played out but didn't think of using it for a singer list. This does make a difference when you know the book ID.
