I moved you post to a new thread as it didn't have anything to do with the problem in the one you posted to.

Are all the files on the external drive already imported Hoster KMA files?
Are they all in the same folder or split into several folders or sub-folders?
I am guessing that this new laptop is Windows 7, so did you do the required changes from this link:
http://www.mtu.com/upgrades/hoster/windows7-changes.htm

On the new discs if they are new (recently released then they may not be in the database, which means you will have to manually enter all the information. Hoster's database is only updated by what we (users) enter. This information is uploaded to MTU when you connect to the internet. If no one else has entered the data on those discs then they won't be in the database yet.

Re: Rebuilding Database

Open your Tools/Songs database, then select rebuild, in the list of folders window, all the folders with your files on must appear in this window.
Use the "Add Folder" button and navigate to the folders on your hard drives to each folder containing your previously imported files, make sure you see the list of files in your selected folder then press select.
Once you are sure all the folders are listed in this list press the "Rebuild Songs Database" button at the bottom. It may take some time depending how many songs you have in the database.
