gem series help

these things simply will not import. they aren't like cdgs how the heck do I import them? i tried from cd and it will only list one "unknown" song and it is 25 mins 15 seconds long so it is not seeing the mp3+g format Do i need to move them onto a hard drive first? then import them? or what. And please no remarks about sound choice i have heard it all i have the series and all i wanna do is go peacefully into that good night at this point. helllllllp:e

Re: gem series help

Yes you will have to copy them to the hard drive to import from there. The import from CD only works for CDG format.

well here i am posting my own reply. I couldn't stop tinkering and figured it out. but for those of you even more hopelessly geek challenged than I here is the solution. make a folder some place, (i did it on my desktop), insert cd then go to my computer and locate the drive the cd is in click on it go to edit click "select all" then drag the files to that folder. then go back to hoster choose import from hard drive, then choose mp3g and then select that folder you just loaded with those files and import them from there. it works. thank goodness and my stubborn nature. hope this helps some poor unfortunate.
