Audio drop out causing Lyrics to go out of sync

Help Please! I have been using Hoster fo 2 years now stated with 4.6. Wich I am still running on my other laptop. LOVE IT!
I have recently bought a new lap top and bought hoster 4.32 for it. When I first got it set up everything was working fine. then a couple of weeks ago after some windows updates and adding in my singers lists I started having 2 sec. drop outs thus causing lyrics to go out fo sync. YES, I've done all updates just the way Hoster wants and have made ALL the changes for Windows 7. It seems to happen when i have other programs open such as windows media player and Open the song seach in hoster. I bought this Laptop Jan. 17 2011. It should be super fast. I have tried the system restore to the further date at the time it was 2/24 and it fixed it. but when I put the updates on again everything went bad again. Now that restore point is gone. Any Help??
Thank You

There should be a new restore point just prior to last time you added those updates back. Do you remember what the updates were for?
Were any of them Hardware updates like for you video card?
How much memory (RAM) is in this computer?
The biggest problem with laptops is shared memory for operation and video. If the operations need more memory then the video memory gets reduced.
You can also try opening the Search window, when you open Hoster and moving (don't minimize) the search window down out of the way, leaving just enough to be able to grab it and move it back up when you need it.

Thank you for responding so quickly! I have 6GB of ram this was the top of the line HP in Jan.2011 at NFM and had the hightest of everything at that time. I could do a restore again but fear of the same thing happening again after the updates. the updates were a windows service pack, hp update for quick launch software, and 3 other windows smaller ones. After restoring I went back and did the recommended install by do each one at a time Priority first. I want to say it's not just related to the seach window, I feel it's not getting full use of the quad processers. I set the virtual memory to the recomended 2x ram. then tried letting Hp decide and it worked better. I just can't seem to run windows Media player, or use my sound effects program and be connected to the internet all at the same time like I can on my other laptop.

I would not have done the Hp quick launch update. This allows HP to use processor time and memory to pre-launch parts of programs that you don't need running. Also quick launching those programs really doesn't save that much time if you need to open them. This is most likely part of the cause of the sync loss. This means other programs beside what you have selected to run are running in the background.
