MP3+G On DVD Discs ...

Can anyone tell me if Hoster can read and load MP3+G songs from DVD discs?

I don't mean the ones with background video, just ordinary MP3+G songs!

Hoster cannot read DVD disks at all. You will have to copy the MP3+G songs to your hard drive.

Dale,

Thanks! Again, Dale to the rescue....

Also, I had a request recently for the new DVD+G with background video's and what you're telling me, if I understand you right, is Hoster can't display these either!

Since I only run the Singer's monitor, this doesn't bother me. I do not want everyone in the Bar seeing the Singer's words and singing with them (most of the time overpowering the Singer's voice). Also, if the Singer makes a blooper, most of the time, no one notices...

I want the audience looking at the Singer...

Dale is not quite correct here as you can play regular MP3+G files from a DVD disc. The thing to remember is you load them to the playlist from the K-Oke button just the same as if you had them on a usb stick or hard drive.

Also I can load the vts part of a DVD karaoke disc using the video tab but it is not very practical as they tend to be multiple tracks from one file and take quite a time to load and you can't select the track you want.

If you want to spend the time you can video-capture individual songs with background video from a DVD and record them to mpg or wmv and play those through Hoster.
