You do not provide enough information for anyone to offer any assistance... Please refer to the following thread : To Get Help with Hoster - Include These and provide any/all of the available info. :c |

Re: Locking up when importing bin
upgrade to the 432.12 Now I've lost the whole thing! I can't get it to reinstall. Ok, I'm freaking out!

Re: Locking up when importing bin
The latest update is 432.01.
When you try to install and it fails, does it give you a message, if so what is the message? |
Re: Locking up when importing bin
It says I have to free up my reg codes because I've installed or have used the code more than twice... How do I do this? I sent an emergency help to MTU, but haven't heard anything. I'm sorry if I'm not in depth enough. I am just not really very computer literate.

Re: Locking up when importing bin
If you have sent your support ticket correctly, you should receive an automated response back with a ticket number to your email address. If you don't receive this auto response then you must have done something wrong like entered your email wrong or something.
MTU do not work weekends so you would be unlikely to get a fix before Monday. Depending which version of Hoster you have, full version allows for 2 computers the lite version only one computer. The message seems to suggest that you have installed this on 2 computers already, if that is not the case, have you altered anything like had a repair done on a computer. Before you try anything else, try going to Start/ All programs/Accessories/System Tools/System restore. This will present you with a widow where you can select a time before your last update. If the date of the recommended restore is not before the date you started having problems click the other option to choose a restore point. If this doesn't get you going you can reverse the process so you will be back where you are now. The only other options are to see if you can use the uninstall option from the Hoster.exe File then reinstall after that, or wait for your response from MTU who may have to reset your download link. |
Re: Locking up when importing bin
Thank you Roy, but I have tried all of that. I have the hoster full and have it on another computer, but it is an old one, one of the first MTU came up with. I did get a ticket number, so I guess I will have to wait for some help. Thank you for trying.

Have you tried downloading the file again from the site you got it from? |

I was able to import on my other computer, but as I stated earlier, I lost the whole Hoster program. I reinstalled from an earlier version, but am unable upgrade as my downloads are locked and no one from MTU is responding because it's saturday. I am a little frustrated but have a slower computer I can run for backup in a pinch. I just wish they had a 24 hour emergency line to get in and actually talk to someone. Thanks, Jc |
Re: Locking up when importing bin
Unfortunately that is not the case. Since you put in the emergency ticket someone may look at it before Monday, but that is not definate. If not it should be fixed fairly quickly Monday.
