Re: 12 month update policy
You did not purchase the software. You purchase a license to use the software. Ownership is retained by MTU as it is with all software. Nothing says you have to upgrade at any time. You can continue using whatever version you have installed. You are warned to save a download of the software and keep it in a safe place in case your computer crashes. It is not MTU's responsibility to keep older previous versions available for download.
As far as the upgrade 12 month period how do you figure you have to agree to it. MTU has the right as owner of the software to charge for any additional upgrades that they make to the software and do not have to support older version. They don't need our agreement to do this either. Just for FYI the change to 12 months changed over a year ago. |
Re: 12 month update policy
Well excuse me for having cancer and being in an extended care faculty. No one ever said that the program i was using would be discontinued. Dale Go ahead and say what u like but for more than 5 years it had been that way. also did you call the support number. No answering machine available.

By you own statement the version you had even under the old system for upgrades would be a charge to get any of the versions still posted. As I said in your other thread, I am sorry but MTU has done all they can without you purchasing an upgrade. |

Dale
would you agree that a company that makes the best karaoke software, among other products. Should be capable of doing a mass email. when there policy changes. I mean they do have everyones email. How hard can it be |
Re: 12 month update policy
Carl, sure they could have but chose not too. I am not going to get into this any more with you as there is nothing that can be done to change it.
