Hi,

I am having problems setting up the instabuttons, Hoster freezes up when I select a file???

Windows 7, Processor 1.87 GHz and 4.00 GB RAM

Do you mean it freezes as you press an instabutton to play ? or as you try to load a file into the list ?
If the later, what types of files are you trying to load, what extensions do they have ?

It is as I am trying to load a file, they are wav files that I used before on a previous version of Hoster

As you are experiencing a few problems I wonder if you have done all the windows updates including Media player version 12 and Internet explorer 8 and the other recommendations for windows 7 as set out in the manual.

I'd got the updates, Media player 12 and Internet explorer 8 and followed other recommendations as best I could from the manual, though not all tallied for Windows 7

What version of Hoster are you running?

A new "compressed" .WAV file hit the scene a few years ago. It violated every rule for WAV audio files, which had ALWAYS contained UNCOMPRESSED data.

If you have MTU's Songverter, try converting several of your .wav files that won't open as Instabutton files. Convert them to .WMA format and then try to open them as Instabutton files.

If that doesn't work, we need to get one of your "bad" .wav files to study what is wrong. If this needs to be done, click the Chat link at the top (header) of any MTU.com web page, and select Support. If no one is on-line, you will get a form to submit. Ask Bryan; "Please arrange to come into my computer to upload a bad .wav file that won't work in Instabuttons. Dave told me to do this." :w
