Duplicate BookID???

Alright, I am loading all my laserdiscs (via kma/mpg files) into Hoster, letting Hoster pick the next bookid, when I transfer the files to my show computer (same database), it says I have a duplicate bookid and will not load the disc into my databse, however I checked the database through the search window with bookid only switched and that bookid does not currently exist when I call it up in the search compared to the buildsongdblog claim. What could be the problem? This is the only disc out of 60 that i've had an issue with. The bookid does not exist yet it is claiming it does???

Well yeah it is completely current as i've been rebuilding my database to add new kmh files (i stated kma in my original post - these are kmh/mpg files) nightly. Last night I added 6 new discs & rebuilt as I had been & after the rebuild it said songs successfully added with the 14 songs with duplicate bookid error and to check the builddblog located.......
When I checked the log (dated last night), it showed one of the new discs with a bookid (991 to be exact). Checked that bookid in a search of my database and nothing came up. All the other discs I just added were fine with the numbers 1 up (992) and 1 down (990) but 991 was not in the database.

Strange. Only thing I can say is report it in Beta and use the Add to have it change it to one that will work.

Only problem I can see with that is then my database on the computer that I rip on will not be the same as the show computer anymore and will continue to run into problems if I let the import automatically assign the next bookid - correct?

Are both computers identical as far as the song files? If so you could try copying the sings.mdb from the ripping computer over to the show computer and see if it will list correctly.

They should be identical.
I've never had the add/merge feature work correctly. I will try copying the song file over.

Well oddly enough, copying the song database file over didn't work, that 1 disc still refuses to go in under that bookid. Guess i'll have to delete & create a dummy disc for that bookid & reimport under a new id.

Two things to try:
1. If you have Access then you can open the database and see if any 991's are in there.
2. Delete the songs.MDB or rename it and then rebuild the database from scratch.

No other 991 in the Access Database other than the disc in question.

I actually tried that last night on my own. No luck either.
