Run Time Error Notice
I WAS REMOVING THE SILENCE FROM DOWNLOADED CDGS. I LEFT WHILE THIS WAS WORKING TO RUN ERRANDS. WHEN I GOT HOME I HAVE THIS MESSAGE UP ON MY SCREEN....
"APPLICATION REQUESTED RUNTIME TO TERMINATE IT IN AN UNUSUAL WAY. PLEASE CONTACT THE APPLICATIONS SUPPORT TEAM FOR MORE INFORMATION".. I KNOW THAT AT LEAST 1200 SONGS HAD BEEN GONE THRU BEFORE I LEFT OKAY... I AM!!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THIS IS ABOUT? I AM ALSO RUNNING INTO A PROBLEM WITH HOSTER FINDING SOME OF THE SONGS I KNOW ARE DOWNLOADED IN THE HOSTER SONG FILES.. GOT ANY IDEAS?:s |
Re: Run Time Error Notice
Ok. First turn off the Caps Lock. That means you are yelling and I know you aren't.
What version of Hoster and what Operating System are you using? Have you tried restarting the Remove Silence function and see if it will go on? I would do this after you have rebooted the computer to make sure it wasn't a computer glitch. For your second question, what do you mean by "downloaded in the Hoster songs files"? Are these songs you have imported to Hoster or just copied the files to the Hoster songs folder? |
Re: Run Time Error Notice
oops... I wasn't yelling :)
I think it is 431.. I am not sure because when I click on Hoster info and the little screen pops up with the version, the only thing I can see is the 4. The rest is for some reason cut off. I purchased windows 7 prior to installing this on my laptop. I use the hoster add CD to put my songs into my hoster song files. Hopefully this info will help. Guess maybe I shouldn't have ventured into this project at all because when I try to figure something out by reading the manual it is difficult for me to interpret what the manual is trying to tell me. It's also hard to find the section that contains information I'm looking for. |
Re: Run Time Error Notice
First have you gone through the changes required for Windows 7? Here is the link for doing this:
http://www.mtu.com/upgrades/hoster/windows7-changes.htm This is most likely the cause of the disappearing songs. Vista and Windows 7 both have a bad habit of determining that Hoster should not have access to some of its files. The above changes will stop Windows 7 from hiding those files. |
