Tempo Control?
 

What happen to this requested feature? It Was promised on Hoster 4.0 series but nothing happened. I was waiting for this that is why I upgraded to 4.0 series now everything on upgrade expire and still no Tempo control. On 1/24/07 admin posted this " We are working on adding tempo control in hoster 4.0" We are on 4.31 and still nothing on requested feature for hoster, while other features that I don't even bother to try in my show was given priority even it slow down or even shut down hoster. I'm still using the solid hoster 3.4 even I have 4.22 and 4.31 on my other computer. I'm ok using other software for my audio background or for my dance music. And other for my sound effects. What i Need is the tempo control.

They tried one Tempo code, but in beta testing we found it caused a lot of problems, so it was scrapped.
This is still on the specs, but so far they have not been able to find anything that will work. One they tried was a combination code for both Tempo and Key Change but unfortunately it would do one without the other.
It is not as easy as it sounds to get one that will work with the existing code.

So it Would not happen in near future... or next version of hoster?

I too was hoping to see tempo control in this new release but I guess there will be no tempo before it's time. I remember a post a while back from Admin. as Dale mentioned, they weren't happy with the coding they had and were still working on it. I don't know if this is any help to MTU but last week I was on the SunFly site ordering some songs and I found a free software karaoke player. It is very, very basic but it has tempo and key change. It seems to work very well. Maybe there is something there that
Admin can check out that may help them. Hope this isn't out of line. It is only an effort to help.

Don't know. It depends on what they can find that will work.
