Cant uninstall Hoster Lite
 

My laptop is failing and I have it over at my tech's shop. I am getting a new one from him and he is trying to uninstall Hoster Lite from my old laptop and install the same version on my new laptop using the download link and codes.

Problem is that when he tries to uninstall Hoster from my old laptop he gets this error message in an InstallShield Wizzard error box.

Underhanded Exception
Error number: 0x80040702
Description: Failed to load DLL:_ismtu
Setup will now terminate

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Submit a support ticket to get it reset, since it won't uninstall correctly. Be sure he deletes all the files in the program folder for Hoster, so it cannot be used again.
Keep in mind that MTU does not work on the weekend so it will be Next week before they can get to it.

Thanks Doug, but I have to get my problems resolved this week end. I have decided to purchase the latest version of Hoster Lite and install directly on my new computer. My Tech tells me he has gotten all my music off the old laptop. Are there any special instructions I should follow for rebuilding my data base on the new installation?

Just a note, if you are purchasing the full product you should be OK, but if you are purchasing an upgrade version the new computer needs to have a copy of the original version on it first.
You should just have to point Hoster to the folder containing your KMA files from Tools Tab/Songs data base then rebuild.

Basically when you run the original installation file an option tick box appears to select uninstall. You need to be online for the uninstall to register.
Alternatevely you can uninstall via control panel/programs & features.
