Hoster _ismtu.dll error installing 4.22 - FIXED redownload
 
i havent read or heard anything about the missing DLL.

We spent 4 days tracking down the problem... which is SOME 64-bit installations of Windows (XP, Vista, Win7) are missing the msc80.dll and its dependent DLL's. We have not determined WHY this happens. One day, Microsoft will put their fix in a "Required" Upgrade" and all of you with this problem will see it disappear.

Once we determined the problem, we finally found a Microsoft 2.5MB .exe "fix". We updated our Installation program so when it discovers the msc80.dll is missing, it installs the Microsoft fix .exe and runs it to install the missing DLL's, then continues installing Hoster 4.22.

We are now testing this with those who had submitted a Support Ticket. If you wish to test it also before we release it, please submit a Support Ticket and request "I want to test the new 4.22.7 with the _ismtu.dll fix."

is there a time limit for this?, i am unable to this now since my back-up laptop is in the storage..( still waiting for approval from HOA to moved in the new house:m ) but anyway i will submit a ticket..thank you

Billy if you don't get to test because of your situation that is ok. You will still be able to get the fix after they determine it works. It will be released as soon as it is fixed and will be a part of all upgrades after that.

We have released new code for EACH MTU Product, under the same PRIOR version number; i.e. we didn't change the version number for this Installation problem fix.

They are now at http://download.mtu.com/download.htm. :c
