Hoster logo doesnt show up
 

i usually do a test run an hr. before i start my show ,when i first open Hoster, the logo doen't show up,all i get was a black singer and viewer screen, can't open search or singer button, had to closed and re-open the 2nd time then the Hoster logo will come up,and everything will be fine, to me it's not that big of a deal since i have an hr. to figure out the problem, and also last Sat. when i searched for a song , i got an error msg. " not found in database" , had to closed and re-opened hoster and everything was fine after that,sngs comes up, my ext. hhd, laptop, and board etc. are all hooked-up to a surge protector, so when i plugged it in to the elect. outlet they all come on at the same time...just wondering..

It may be that your external drive has not had time to complete its run-up before the laptop gets up. Try turning it on first, wait a minute and then fire up the laptop.

it's probably just a fluke, i just opened hoster the way i always do,to see if the error msg. comes up ( i have to do some editing ) and didnt have any problems, i still have to opened hoster 2x though since the hoster logo did not show up..but it's not really a big deal, it opened right up,as long as it works when it opens thats alright by me:)

Ever Since They Came Out with 4xxx I open Hoster and if there logo shows up about 1 out of 3 times hoster will encouneter a problem and need to close. So I close it and open again and Never does it twice. i'm guessing it has something to do with window media player. But I have'nt thought much about this. I won't be concerned until it starts to happen more often.

i'm not really concern about it, as long as it opens right up the 2nd time , like i said i always ( when i play ) that i do i test run an hour before, so i have plenty of time , if it fails , then i have my back-up laptop to get my show going..
