Background Audio Player Help Needed
I am clicking on the background audio player and it is opening another window, and it is minimized at the bottom pf my screen but I can never see it. I did have dual monitors but it worked before and now it isn't. Any idea?

Minimized as in on the Taskbar at the bottom or on the screen space at the bottom?
If it is on the Taskbar: When it is minimized at the bottom have you tried to click on it to open it? Or right click on it and choose restore? If you see it above the Taskbar try grabbing the top edge and dragging it up to resize. If those don't work you may have to re-install Hoster |
Re: Background Audio Player Help Needed
Yes I mean minimized to the task bar. Yes, when I try to restore it looks like it is opening up toward the left of the screen but there is nothing there. I have tried clicking to the far right and left and dragging to see if it is off screen.
The same thing happens in hoster, if I have hoster minimized, I cannot just then click back on it and have it automatically maximize to the screen, I am having to right click and then click maximize. It also appears to open to the left but it does maximize to the screen. The Background audio screen does not, it does not give me the option to maximize but to minimize or restore and neither works. |
Re: Background Audio Player Help Needed
Are you in single or dual screen mode? In the settings is the secondary screen to the left ( the two monitors shown in the settings)?
Try increasing your screen resolution and see if it shows. |
Re: Background Audio Player Help Needed
Hi,
I am still unable to make the background audio window come up. I click on it and it automatically. Now if I double click on hoster, when it opens it opens minimuized. The only way it fills the screen is to right click and maximize. If I click on background audio it immediately minimizes to the bottom, and i cant get it to show at all. I am currently not hooked up to an external monitor. If I am on the display settings, and hit ID monitors, the #1 id is on my laptop. the THis is my main monitor and extend the desktop into this monitor is checked. The screen resolution is 1280 x 800 the highest I can go. This worked before and I am not sure what I did that changed anything. HELP!!! |
Re: Background Audio Player Help Needed
how about going to tools, option and re-set display.or maybe go to show display set-up and click on preview, see if the "undock and resize display" is checked if not check. it , you have to re-start hoster for this to take effect.

Re: Background Audio Player Help Needed
I concur with Dale; I think you need to try to UPGRADE Hoster (run the install program and select UPGRADE). If that doesn't work, do the same and select REMOVE. This will do just that. Then, run the install program again, and install Hoster.
If that doesn't work, I expect something has changed in your Windows setup and you will probably need someone local to help you with that. |
