Background Audio Player Help Needed
I just upgraded to the latest version of Hoster on vista. All good so far, but I can't get the background audio player to work. I can add songs but when I press play button nothing happens. The talk over button is also grayed out. I tried the demo version on my work computer and it worked great. Any ideas? Background audio button is green and on.

Click the "ON" button not the play then close the window and reopen it. Then all the rest should work. The play is to preview so you can set the talkover and play levels.

Re: Background Audio Player Help Needed
ok, thanks! One more question if you know. I have a few mixes that are very long and include several songs. For instance over an hour, so I would like that one mix to keep playing the whole time in between the karaoke songs. but is seems like everytime I stop the karaoke songs and the background audio started it skips to the next song. Is there a way to tell it to play each song to its completion?

Re: Background Audio Player Help Needed
Not at this time. They tried to add a setting for continuous play, but when we tested it the song was garbled and bad when you came back to it. SO they took that back out. Whether it will be addressed again I don't know, but for now there is no way to do it.

That would be great if they could do it. I have a lot of songs that people would love to hear in between singers!

Re: Background Audio Player Help Needed
I think I saw that you guys were working on picking up where it leaves off a while ago in a future release. Your wannabe competition can do this! Along with multiple lock-ups! :w
THATS WHY I LOVE HOSTER!!!!!!!! EASY AND STABLE! |
