Re-Loaded Hoster, not registering my kma songs on my external drive
After my computer crashed I had to purchase an upgrade to get back up and running, spent many hours trying to figure out how to tell Hoster where my 3,000 + songs are, they are sitting in my external drive. My program is on my C: drive , I have made all the necessary changes, everything is ready but when I entered one of my song #'s it couldn't find it:f How do I tell Hoster where to look? Need to reprint the manual as there seems to be many changes to the original one I got in 2006, I'm close to getting it back to up and running since everything crashed! Help please:e

if you just reloaded Hoster to a new comp. and it's not an upgrade , you need to rebuild your song database, go to tools. song database and click on your ext. drive drive, then click on rebuild |
Re: Re-Loaded Hoster, not registering my kma songs on my external drive
Thank you so much, this is actually what I have been doing but I kept getting 0 entries, then I realized I was listing the songbook folder instead of the folder with the kma files, did it right this time and it worked, I am so happy, it has been such a headache for me, now I am a happy camper, my son had called me from Afganistan late last week and I was telling him that my computer crashed and I lost everything, he was so bummed, we do enjoy our time together when home visiting doing Karaoke, waiting for his next call so I can tell him his middle aged mother fixed it!!:g Thank you all for helping me get thru this.
