When I checked the hard drive .kma files I renamed the file with the singer and song name and removed the ID so I could recognize the file. Now when I search in Hoster for the song it says that it isn't on the hard drive eventhough it is. Could someone please help me, I'm dreading the fact that I may have to re-import everything...ahhh. Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks :)

Rebuilding might help but it is better to leave them the way Hoster imports them. I can't imagine changing the names on my 19,000+ KMA files!:e
You should not have to ever look for a file, because everything can be done within Hoster. You can Search for a song by many feilds including Brand, DiskID, Title, Artist, etc. You can also Edit Songs including delete them if you need to to re-import.
The reason for Hoster using the DiskID-Track Number for the name of the File is to keep the name short. Microsoft will only allow a certain length for Path+filenames and some song Titles with Artist can be too long for this causing problems.
