.net 3.5

What version of .NET is recommended for H 4.2? I remember a long time ago it was recommended not to upgrade, and I don't recall seeing any further discussion on this. Does anyone know if Hoster works well with 3.5 on Vista?

At the time that was written, we figured out they were trying to update without doing 3.0 first so it wouldn't work for them.
You can update to 3.5 if you want, though it isn't necessary for 4.20 - no changes there.

I still have 2.0. Is that still OK? I don't want to miss any necessary updates.

Does everything work? Then you are ok, but I would recommend you upgrade it to keep from getting too far behind.

Everything works fine since I upgraded Video Codecs. I just wondered what .NET affects & if it also must be kept updated:r
