On-Line Database
I just tried importing a Josh Groban Chartbuster disk #CB90334. I believe this disk has been out since 2008. I identified the Brand & Disk ID, but it keeps changing to "Brand: American Idol, DiskID: UNKNOWN". This is the correct list of songs, but also lists the songs as follows:
example: Trk 2 Title: Josh Groban - Vincent (F) Artist: Chartbuster Karaoke I will have to manually correct all 15 songs. Will these changes show up for others to use? |
The On-line Database is actually FreeDB which are inputs by all kinds of users. However MTU does not participate in the updating to them, so no your changes will not appear in the On-line database. Also, the on-line is formated as First name then Last Name.
However, because you have corrected them and imported them they will be added to the Bucket (internal database in Hoster). Then the changes will show up in a future release of Hoster. MTUSupport has posted that the latest update has been added and is available in the download area. All you have to do is download Hoster4.11 again and "Upgrade" it. This will bring it up to date, though you may have missed this update for your changes. |
OH.......that's how it works.:s Thanks for explaining that to me! I also didn't realize we needed to re-download the same H program to get the new bucket. I thought we got it separately. Sure glad you're keeping up with this stuff, Dale:) I think I personally need more RAM:t
Had you ever seen songs listed like I mentioned above? That was a first for me! |
Dale, We should be able to copy and paste the "bucket" file, say from my test machine to my show machine. (Being the show machine may be a couple of upgrades behind the test machine)
Is this correct? |
