Song Books....
I'm still using an older version of Hoster (been playing it safe, and it's been working great for the past year or so), however, I'm considering maybe it's time to do the upgrades....question about printing the song books.....
Is it possible to put two columns on each page printed?:? I'm just trying to find out how I can squeeze enough songs onto one page so that my books aren't so heavy!:e Thank You! |

I believe it requires the use of Microsoft Word

Sam the columns are set in the Songbook Creator so will show in either Word or Wordpad.

According to the message you get when you click the "select viewer" button, Wordpad cannot be used for multiple columns. I didn't try it so maybe that warning is no longer applicable.

Songbooks....
I'm confused about the word pad, thing.....I just want to know if I can print two columns in my book and can I just list the Song Title and Artist only?
|
Forget Wordpad (Sam you were correct)
The Songbook creater does set up the Songbook in 1,2 or 3 columns and yes you can limit the contents to just Title and Artist. What Sam was saying is in order to print it with two columns, as you requested, you have to print in Microsoft Word. |
Song Books
Besides being able to print my pages in two columns...is it possible to
only have one listing of titles that have multiple versions of the same song? :? |
There is no easy way to do this if that is what you are asking.
Read the section in the Manual Titled Preparing Your Songbook. And the Edit Songs section about Hide in Songbook. In a short version you will need to find all of the duplicates and set them in the Edit Songs Utility to "Hide in songbook." Then you can either exclude them or show them for your various types of lists. What version are you currently using? |
Song Book
I believe it's 3.321
Been playing it safe after many problems when I first started with Hoster! |
