I have a dv 8000 hp laptop with an extra hard drive bay I want to install another hard drive and move my song files from portable drive to here also can I move hoster from cdrive to the new internal drive without problems. Thanks Dave

you can move your song files to another drive, why don't you just copy them to your new drive and leave your songs in your ext. drive , so you'll have a back-up just in case something happens to your new drive. ( back-up )..but you should just leave your hoster to your c:drive, just make sure to select your destination folder (drive) to where your songs are, so hoster can find them once you rebuilt you song database.

Thanks Billy I apreciate the help I was going to copy the ext. drive so I had back up. Just was not sure about the program. dave

The program needs to stay on the C Drive to work correctly.
