Upgrade to 4.10
 

Tried to upgrade to Hoster light and i get a message saying the product is registered on a different computer, I have purchased hoster twice in the last year one on each computer so i should not be getting this error. I have submitted a ticket but as it's getting near the weekend i would like to have tried it out on one of them. Also is importing video tracks available on 4.10 as promised on 4.09? Any ideas

Did you possibly mix up your registration codes for the two computers?
Did you change anything on either computer since last installing?
Were those purchases "Upgrade" or "Full" versions and did you try to "Upgrade" or "Remove" (and install)?
If you submitted your Ticket today they should get to it within a couple days.

If you are referring to adding Videos to the database imports then no it has not been completed yet. I don't believe they said it would be in 4.10 but will be in 4.20 instead.
Version 4.11 is being worked on right now for release this week to fix a couple bugs that slipped through on 4.10. I am not sure what is next for them to work on though.

I purchased two full versions of Hoster Light on two separate computers, i tried to update on line on my backup computer not remove and install so i thought the reg codes are stored on each computer. The only thing i have may have done is put in a bigger hard drive.
Also in 4.8 onwards if you pressed import video button it would say this feature will be available in 4.10.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

If you put in a bigger C: drive then yes that changes the computer so MTU recognizes it as a different computer. The other computer should be ok unless you did that to both computers.

If you click on it in 4.10 it says this has been postponed until 4.20. It is much more complicated than first thought.

Thanks Dale, just had confirmation that I can now reinstall so i'll give it a go.

All sorted, upgraded and installed, run for a hour no probs, nice little touches added, will do show laptop tommorow or should I wait for 4.11?

The only bug that would bother a show would be if you don't have the show display Always On. The rest of the changes deal with the Edit Songs Tool.

I could use a bit of help here as well
 

I have the same problem however I did not change hard drives or anything. I have 3.21 on this computer. In August of 08 I bought the upgrade to 4.0 and put it on my other computer and an older computer that is now dead. I just NOW like 15 minutes ago puchased the upgrade to 4.10 and it won't allow me to install saying I already have it on 2 computers. HELP PLEASE....I NEED this Saturday!!! Thanks!
