Book ID
 

If I understand correctly, a Book Root ID can have up to 99 tracks. The majority of my disc have 16 - 22 songs per disk. I just purchased a set of 200 CDGs. The vast majority are duplicates I wanted to have as a backup. Rather than use 200 Book Root ID's, Is it possible to utilize all 99 tracks before selecting another Book Root ID? In other words, if the first disk is 99901-99916, is it possible to load the next CDG as 99917-99931?

No because Only one DiskID can be used with each BookID. If you are worried about running out of BookIDs don't because you can have BookIDs up to 9999XX.
To use more than what is on each disk you would need to import them on to your hard drive by another program into either BIN, MP3+G, WAV+G, or WMA+G and not include the DiskID or track in the names of the files. Then you could import them from Hard Drive into Hoster as Custom Assemblys. If you do this make sure you do not put more than 99 files in one folder.

Thanks for the response. The only reason I had thought about it was to make it easier for me to manage my song book and CDG collection. I've been utiliziing two versions of an excell spread sheet (a master copy and a singers copy without duplicates). Then I use a seperate list to keep track of where my CDG disk are phisicaly located (binder number and pocket). So I am relly just considering a better method of organization when I add bulk sets of CDGs.

I use custom assemblies. Beforehand, I had assigned all my disks a number from one to a 999 (I don't have more than a thousand disks yet) with about 12 to 18 on a disk.
I set the root book Id number the same number as the disk number (such 444-12), now I combine up to 4 or 5 disks on one book ID/disk Id. My root book Id numbers won't be used up as fast this way, and the largest number to write down or memorize for a customer or me is only 5 digits.(Instead of a long drawn out number like SGB-34821-123-disk #2):).

switch to hosters songbook, you wont regret it !

As Beavis said try the Songbook in Hoster. It can do exactly what you are doing with a little initial work. Hoster has a "Hide in Songbook" feature that you can use to hide your duplicates. Then when you go to print you can choose to exclude those mark as Hide to create your singer's copies and choose not to exclude it to create a master copy for you.

The Create Songbook also can create a list of all your DiskIDs that you can use to make the list of them and add the locations.

The way I do my disks is I write the BookID on the disk and they are stored in binders in numerical order. That way if I need one all I need is to look for the ID number. I also have the binders labeled on the front with what numbers are in it (0-200, 200-400, etc).

It's in the specs to be added at some point but not yet. As others have noted you can use Microstudio to import as bins and the import those into Hoster with up to 99 tracks per root id. If you are worried about running out od root id numbers you, they now allow up to 99,999
