Hoster Won't Access External HD

I'm working with Hoster 4.08 using Windows XP.
My KMA files are on an external Hard Drive.
I browse to G:\Karaoke KMA Files\ and show it as the only entry in the song source folder field. When I Click "Add Songs to Database", the return message is "No new entries were merged into the song DB".
I tried deleting and re-entering the data in the song source folder field, but that did not solve the problem. I tried Right-Clicking on the Hoster icon, and clicking "run as administrator", but that did not solve the problem.
Please help,
Thanks, JBass43

You need to "Rebuild" not "Add" which is used if you have duplicate BookIDs.

Thanks for the Information.
This time I Clicked "Rebuild", on the Songs Database Maintenance activity box. First the screen reported that the backup was successful, and then the message is "Sucessfully created 0 entry 'songs.mtb' database in C:\MTU\Hoster\". For some reason, the program still can not link up with the data on the G:\ external hard drive.
Hope you have an answer, or and idea ..

Do you have you KMA files in folders under G:\Karaoke KMA Files\? The Songs database does not look in any folders but the ones listed. So all the individual folders have to be listed.

If you don't see the KMA's in the folder you select, you are in the wrong folder (see attached image)

I have at least a dozen folders under G:\Karaoke KMA Files\.
Each of those folders have folders and sub-folders.
I used SongVerter to convert my MP3+G Zipped files to KMA files, and I Checked the boxes to keep the original directory structure.
I expected Hoster to read the main directory (G:\Karaoke KMA Files\) and all the sub folders underneath it. I think I can re-do the Songverter conversion process, this time into a single directory, if that is the right thing to do.

Hoster will use subdirectories for importing mp3g's, but building the database or using "add" to add kma's to an existing database, it will not use subdirectories. Every folder has to be listed.

Actually it would be best to Import those MP3+G zipped files into Hoster directly then all the KMA files will go into one folder (where ever you assign it to) and will unzip them as it imports. Songverter does not add the bookids to the KMA. If you do them that way you will need to use the ADD instead of the rebuild so BookIDs can be assigned and inserted into the header.
Hoster is not going to support any zip files in the near future and will not import them as such now nor can you add them from the main screen now.

Thanks for the input.
I will erase the files in the G:\Karaoke KMA Files\ directory and use Hoster's import function to "Load" the files. I believe that will solve this particular problem for me.
Thanks Again.
