3.321 and 4.08 "Dual Install"?

I am running 3.321 on my laptop, a Sony Vaio Core 2 Duo 1.66GHz with 2 gigs RAM and Vista Home. It runs flawlessly- never had a problem with the system or software at all. I am thinking of upgrading to 4.08 Hoster, but am reluctant to do so if it requires removing 3.321 (which I know works). Can I purchase and install 4.08 and try it out without uninstalling 3.321 or do they use some of the same files/folders? Will 4.08 "change" any of my 3.321 files so that they are not backward-compatible? I'd really like to have access the new features but I don't want to give up the stability I have with 3.321.

Your in luck, as part of the install of the new Hoster 4.08 includes the Hoster 3.321 program exe file as well for those who still feel more comfortable with having that available.:)

In 4.08 it is called 3.4 and the only change was so it will work with the new registration code. Other than that it is 3.321. Version 4.08 is just as stable as 3.321.
If you buy the "Upgrade version leave 3.321 installed and use the Upgrade instead of the Remove or it will not install the new one.

One more question-
I keep my updates (custom) up-to-date. Is it necessary to go through the recommended MTU upgrades that have been referenced in the past before installing(upgrading) 4.08?

Hey Detter,
Install or upgrade to 4.08 and run the progam. If you have done all of the necessary updates the program will run correctly. If the program does not run correctly then check your updates and make all of the MTU reccomened changes to your operating system.

Yes because some things have been added. Just skip the ones you know you have done.
