plz help defining field order

I am new to importing files, when I have a file labeled "ASKFP29-1-01 - Brooks & Dunn - aint nothing bout you" I think field one is the askfp29, is field 2 the 1, field 3 01, field 4 brooks and dunn, and field five then title? If so what should be my drop downs be under defining field order? This is confusing because under field 5 there isn't a title category

You may be getting hit by the field separator. You need to check closely to see if it is a "space dash space" or just "dash" you can use the dropdowns to identify these, or type directly into them. Also, the first field seems wrong. The first section should be the CDG manufacturer and disk#. The second should be the track #. Then the artist and tile after that.

askfp29 is a 2 disc set, where as ASK is all star karaoke, fp29 is the disk number and the first 1 is the first disk in the set, the second one is the track number. should askfp29-1 be in the first set? or is the -1 considered the second set?:?

First thing is you need to read the manual and particularly the section on Importing from Hard Drive as it will explain how to determine and set the field order.
In this case you need to change field 2 to "&this", change field 3 to Track, field 4 to Artist and field 5 to Title. All with the appropriate separators in between. That will work for those multi-disk sets.
