Using Add Track vs S+

I thought using the add track button to add a singer to the playlist was not suppose to add that singer to the Singers Database. However everytime I add a singer with the add track button it add singer to the database and it remains there, Even if I close hoster out and restart it. What the difference betwenn the 2 buttons if they do exactly the same thing.

S+ adds the singer and the song on the playlist and adds them into the Singers Database.

Add Track adds it to the playlist only.

All Singer's names are saved regardless of whether you add with Add Track or the S+. Use the Add Track and the song only shows on the Playlist but the Singer's name is saved if it is a new name or select the S+ and the song and name are saved.

Which results in a tediously long list of singers with no entries in the database. And don't even think of sorting by # of entries, selecting all the zeros, and hitting delete. I did that and erased all the singers from A-S:e:e

Mark that has been fixed in 4.08. The problem was after deleting the first one the list would refresh and change back to the original sort. Then would delete the wrong ones. In 4.08 it remains in the sort order you put in and does not refresh until through.

Sorry, I guess I missed that. I remember discussing it, but I didn't remember it being fixed. You'll excuse me if I don't try for a while though:)

Easy way to test is make a copy of your singers database file, try it and if it still doesn't work you can replace that one with the copy.
