Hoster Database - PLEASE help...
I run Hoster on my laptop and have all of my songs on an external drive. The laptop died last week. I bought another computer this weekend. I downloaded - reinstalled - registered Hoster.
My question is, how do I get my database back? :? Please tell me there is a way to do this other than importing them all over again (I have THOUSANDS). My songs are both KMA and MP3G. Any help would be very much appreciated! |

This should get you going. Jim :g |
Thanks for the quick reply.
My songs aren't all in one folder. For example, I have E:/karaoke/Sound Choice where the Sound Choice tunes are, and E:/karaoke/Top Hits Monthly , etc etc. They are all on the same drive. Do I select every folder under E:/karaoke ? And will my songbooks have the same book id numbers? |

I keep all of my KMA files in one folder. I think you will have to select every folder that has KMA files in it. Hoster has to know where the files are located. Jim :g |
Ok, I will try it as soon as I get home this afternoon.
Will it also pick up my MP3G's ? |
Have you already imported your MP3G's into the database? If so, yes they will be there.
