search won't work
 

help, i am running 3320. anything i put in search comes up NOT FOUND. ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEA'S.

and upgrade to 3.321a. It's free. :w After the upgrade, rebuild your database. This should get you going.

I am using vista with the uac disabled. To up grade to 3321 i would have to do a lot. go to enternet etc. I can put songs into a playlist by using the song I. D. I just can't use search.

Check to make sure you don't have Duet or Mux turned on in the Search. Those will limit your search to only songs that are Duet or Mux and if you are searching for one that isn't one of those it will return a Not Found.

Sorry, when i got back home, i checked and my wifey had accidently clicked on duets. I feel pretty stupid. Thanks for y'alls help.

The next time you have your computer with 3.320 installed on it online, take the time to upgrade to 3.321a. This will probably be the last version of Hoster 3 that is released. MTU went to great pains to see that 3.321a was complete and stable before they started on Hoster 4. I suggest all Hoster users who are intitled to the free upgrade to 3.321a to install it. :w

The main intention of my suggestion was to have you upgrade to 3.321a which I still advise. I never hit the MUX or the DUET buttons in the search window when I'm running a show so Dale's fix was not in my line of thought. I'm glad he got you going. (Thanks Dale! :))
