No Internet access on laptop

i Purchased today Video Hoster 4.0 Upgrade from Any Prior Hoster Version and downloaded it to my desk top. the initial hoster programmeon the laptop is 3.316 version. however the lap top has no internet connction.

when i try to install the new programme it gives the option to upgrade the old programme. when i click this option it does not allow the programme to install until a valid internet is up and running. when the old programme was installed i used a digi stick and placed it in my own computer with access to the internet. could this be allowed for the new programme. yours hopefully

Laptop with no Internet Connection?

Why can't you switch the internet connection from your desktop to your laptop just long enough to register and download the second copy?:?

As far as I know you need to be able to connect to internet each time you upgrade from now on, in order for MTU to verify that each license to use Hoster is compliant with their user agreement!:)

No, sorry mate. I remember admin talking about problems with piracy with the memory stick option. The good news is, you can now un-install over the internet to move it to a new computer.
