mp3 to wave

I want to burn an mp3 file to disc in wave format. Program is not identifying mp3's on computer. It is only reading wave. How do I resolve this:?

Cneve, believe you're going to need software to make this conversion. Shouldn't have much trouble finding it on the internet. May even be a stock item at Best Buy, Circuit City, or a similar electronics store.

Take Care,

George

Get Goldwave it will change it over for you. Then use your cdwriting software to burn it. I assume you have Microstudio.

You can also use Winamp to decode .MP3 into .WAV

BTW, I'm new to this forum and looking for a software that can be a compliment to my DJing system based on PCDJ software. I'd like to be able to run a pc-based karaoke songs alongside my existing computer setup and give anybody quick access to karaoke songs. It looks like MTU softwares are good candidates. My question is: When you rip a CD+G track using MicroStudio and MTU certified reader into your harddrive, does it store the file as .WAV or .MP3 or something else?

Thanks,

you can either copy the cdg in .CDG format or the audio into Wave format. Once Hoster is out there will be an additional format for the karaoke.

Are you saying you can create a .CDG file which Microstation will use? And how big is this .CDG file compared to .WAV or .MP3 file?

it is the graphics and audio in the same file uncompressed.

Goldwave is what you want. Very easy to use.
