4.006 Dual Monitor problem
 

Just upgraded to MStudio 4.006 and now I don't get display screen. It pops up for a split second and disappears. I remember some time back (over 2 years) I had the same problem with MStudio upgrade and can't remember what the problem was. Can anyone help?

I am not running dual monitor mode. Just single monitor.
Hoster works fine. (3.321a)

ms only works on single display now, you need to update your cd.dvd drives firmware, see if it still able to read/write cdg..that happened to me, mine use to be able to read/write , but when i upgraded now it will read but wont write anymore.go to tool and click on drives, see if your drives is still supported.read ( yes ) write (yes)

Billy what does that have to do with his problem??

I know there were several who had this problem with the lyrics window doing that,Wally, but for the life of me I cannot remember what fixed it.

Have you tried searching the forum for it?
I looked back through your posts and only I found was that you had to hook up a second monitor to get it to play? Check to see if that second monitor is still Active in Windows? If one isn't connected then Windows should have marked it as Inactive, but you never know if it did unless you check.
This really shouldn't effect Microstudio, but stranger things have happened, especially since you upgraded.

Only other thing is a Popup Blocker or Firewall blocking MS.

is he talking about playing a song that is already in his database, or after importing a disc, if its the first one i dont really have an idea, but if he's having problem playing a song after importing, then his cd/dvd drive is no longer supported by MS, this happened to me when i upgraded even before the 4.06, even doing the drivers update/firmware didnt help, it will read the disc but it wont write, importing will continue till the end, once you hit play it will show for a bit then it will go blank, i ended up using an ext. cd/dvd drive...i remember reading about this problem in the forum too, but i dont remmeber if it was ever fixed. or maybe he can go to tools /option and re-set display..if not just try a system restore

yes i am, he's taking about after upgrading to Microstudio 4.006. i had this problem before..
