Songbook with duets only
I have begun editing my songs and if there are multiple singers to check the duet box, in hopes to print out a book of just these songs.
I have had several customers asking me for this. Once I checked several of these I tried to create a songbook with only those. I can see how I can build a songbook to exclude them but not one that will exclude those that are not checked as duets. Maybe I'm missing something??? Thanks in advance for any help, Stu:? |

There isn't anyway to do this that I know of at least within the Songbook Creator.
If you have Excel you might be able to add Duet after the Artist and Title (in the Songbook Creator), then in Excel sort by that column and delete all except the duets then print the list. |

I guess I have no reason to continue. I know I've seen other hosts with duet sections in their books and maybe that's why customers are requesting it. I think I can figure out a way to trick it perhaps.
Thanks for your help |
By dingies, you're right! We goofed! :e
We'll add in a way to print ONLY Duet or ONLY Mux songs, but it'll have to be in 4.10 that we are now working on. I'm hoping 4.10 will be out some time in January. |

This will work for you short term. Go to Edit songs, hit the "Select Multiple button, select the "Duet" button. Type * in the match box, select find. All you duet will be found during this search. Select them all, then change the language to something you don't use, I used Chinese. Use exclude and exclude all languages but Chinese. Print your book and use the same process to change them back. I know this sound kinda convoluted, but it only takes a couple moments. And should get you by until MTU modifies the program. |
Wow! I never would have thought of that Laddie.:g

I don't use genre at all, so I just chose one 2000's for the duets and that was that. It was a little bit of work, but I wasn't using the duet check mark either so I did it at the same time. Thanks for all the reponses. That's what I meant by tricking it.:)
