Upgrading a 2 year old version of Hoster
My version of hoster has gotten old and now requires that I pay for a new upgrade. I am also moving hoster to a newer computer with a bigger hard drive at the same time. My question is, since you need your original copy of the software to upgrade, how do I upgrade on my new computer if you no longer have the version I originally purchased available for download on your website? I am searching through all my old downloads and am not sure if I saved the original one as I have not found it yet. Just courious if this is going to be an easy fix, or do I need someone there to post a copy of the 3.xxx software I started with.

Check your user account to see if the original download is still available.

Unfortunately there is no way to download it. They don't keep versions that far back. I would suggest you submit a Support Email to see what they need you to do.

IF YOU HAVE ONLY INSTALLED HOSTER ON 1 COMPUTER: Buy the Hoster 4 Upgrade for $69.99. This will then allow you to install Hoster 3.321a on your new computer using your Hoster 3 RegCode, and then UPGRADE it with Hoster 4.06. IF YOU HAVE INSTALLED HOSTER ON 2 COMPUTERS: NOTE: If this is too complex (we've made it as simple as we possibly can), buy a NEW Hoster 4 copy that can install on 2 new computers. 1. Buy the Hoster 4 Upgrade for $69.99. Read these instructions how to REMOVE and RE-INSTALL your Hoster 4 version. IMPORTANT NOTE: you cannot move 3.321a or versions prior to 4.06. You should then be able to REMOVE this copy WHILE THE COMPUTER IS ON-LINE to the Internet. If you cannot, use the form on this page and we'll respond faster than other means. |
Will give it a shot. Option #1 should work for me. Thank you for the informative post.
