"Hiccup"
I included this issue in another thread but I'm thinking it deserves its own ... LOL....
I have installed 4.06 finally and have developed a "hiccup" once in every 5-6 songs. It is not a long hiccup, only for a split second, sometimes too quick for anyone to really notice -- it then starts up again, doesn't miss any music or lyrics, just hesitates for a split second. I haven't figured out if this occurs when I'm doing anything other than just grooving along - like if I'm deleting, adding a CDG song, searching, changing keys, etc. I did all my M/S updates before installing 4.06. This has been my only issue thus far. Anybody else developed 4.06 hiccups? |
Karen you need to figure out what your are doing at the time this is happening (importing a song, searching the database, or singer's database, etc.), so it can be isolated down.
What are your computer's specs? What operating system? You mentioned in your other post that you lost some of your entries in your playlist when Hoster shutdown. By any chance were these imported singers disk songs? If so those will disappear and you will have to re-import them. MTU will not change that. |
Same computer I used for the previous version without any problems; only difference is the windows updates. No, the songs that disappeared were not imported discs; they were my own .kma files. Didn't happen tonight. Will continue to investigate if it happens again.

I have had the same problem, but not as frequent as you. I actually started a thread http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?t=10663 It was happing to me once every two or three show. Ii is weird because everything stops and then picks back up where it left off. Stops just long enough to cause the singers to panic a little. Are you running an external drive? Is it formatted as FAT32 or NTFS? |
I run a PC shuttle with dual SATA drives. It never happened in 3.312. Didn't happen last night, either. Vamos a ver, as they say. I'm going to make a note of what I'm doing if/when it happens again.
