Computer locks up after 2 burns
 
I am having a problem with my computer locking up after 2 burns. No matter if it's the same copy or two different copies. I am trying to backup my collection and this is very upsetting. I am using a Celeron 300 with 180meg memory. Win 98se with a Plextor 24/10/40a. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh, I'm using ver. 2315.

If you go to: http://www.mtu.com/vbulletin/showthr...p?threadid=493 and upgrade your ASPI drivers, this will fix your problem.

Tried it!
 
I tried the updated drivers, no effect. When I close Microstudio I get a illegal operation in the user32.dll file.

It sounds like you have more of a problem than just with Microstudio. It seems that if you are crashing in the user32.dll then there is a problem in the operating system. I would recommend reformatting your computer and reloading Windows on this system.
