Need response....PLEASE...

I hate to post here but I'm getting a little nervous since I've received no response from MTU support since emailing them 4 1/2 days ago. Ticket: 13059-3716101150 . I need to get Hoster onto new computer within the next 2 days before I hand off my old laptop to my son and move half-way across the country and start my new gigs. I know, I'm not supposed to complain (and I'm not trying to ... just nervous over getting this all done), I know there was probably a better place to post, but it took me half a day to finally figure out to post at all. I'm hoping someone from MTU support will get back to me soon. Please! :e

Have you already removed it from the old laptop?
Have you tried to install it on the new computer? (You can install it on up to two computers at one time)
What version of Hoster are you moving?

No, I haven't removed it from my old laptop yet. I have Hoster 3.321 installed on my Sony Vaio (windows XP) laptop, and also on my HP (windows Vista) laptop. I want to remove it from the sony laptop and install it on my HP (Vista) desktop, as I will be moving these 2 computers with me cross country and giving the sony laptop to my son who needs it. I don't want to uninstall the program until I'm sure I'll be able to re-install it on the desktop. I thought I needed a new registration code or something to do this. Am I wrong? Thank you for your quick response!

You have to uninstall it from the laptop you are leaving while online. Then you can install it on the other computer (also online). You should not need to have your registration code reset and no they do not give you a new code except when you buy a new copy or a new upgrade (like 4.06 which released today).

Will this work for 3.21 ? I thought this would only work with 4.0 and newer.

I have cleared your RegRecord from the Sony Viao. You can now install on your new HP.

Dale pointed out a new feature available in Hoster 4... you can remove it from one computer and install it on another without needing MTU. Now that 4.06 is very stable and released, you should upgrade.

Thanks everyone for your help! Hoster is now up and running on the desktop, all kma files transferred without a hitch, and son is happy to have my old laptop (sans Hoster). I appreciate the help!!:t
