Oh what have I done?????
Hoster 4.04 last night while adjusting screen resolution, somehow i screwed up big time. my host screen ended up on the tv screens, it was a horrible night. in order to do karaoke I had to make the (hosts) song display very large so at least they could sing, I did system restore, i cussed, I said a prayer , i went into options and did the factory settings. besides ending my Karaoke Career for ever what can i do to fix this. One more night like this, and everyone will be calling me the bald one.

Did you go back into your "Display Options" in the Control Panel and make sure the 2nd TV is set up for "extended"? Sometimes computers seem to have a mind of their own & settings can revert back to defaut. If the settings are not correct, then yes you will see the same thing on both monitors (computer & TV for singers). When you're doing a Show and in a rush, it is sometimes hard to remember everything - I've done it too, only to find out it was a simple fix.
Hope this helps. |
Thanks Sky
When I Go to my control panel settings, I have 3 screens displayed in there. I have blown up a lot of computers doing Karaoke and never have i had 3 screens show up. It worked with them last week but maybe you are right i will have to check you suggestion. If not Watch your head There could be computers flying around.

Have you tried system restore. If all your other settings fail to correct the problem restore to a time before it went wrong.

lets get back on track
First it is a dell (I hate Dells) 2400 I bought because i did break 2 computers 3 or 4 weeks ago(within one week).so last night i did system restore. now how do i fix this display problem. and yes it has 3 screens that appear there it seems i must use 1 and 3 at least that is what shows up when i click on Indentify

I would think that the procedure would be the same no matter how many TVs there are. Display Options - "Extend my desktop" to the TV you are clicking on (2nd or 3rd).
