Number of columns in songbook

When I increase the number of columns to 2 in Create Song Book, I still get 1 when I view songbook.

Thanks,
Ernie

That will depend on what program you are using (Excel, Works, MS) to View/Print your songbooks. Go to Edit & change the Page Setup to the way you would like to see it. Hoster just puts the information into the program, then you have to adjust the program's parameters to view & print the pages the exact way you want to see them.

MS Word does it automatically if you create a book in Hoster with 2 or more. Not sure about the others.

Not everyone can afford Microsoft Office, which is why I mentioned it all depends on what program you prefer to use. Microsoft Works is also automatic, but again you can adjust the width of the columns, top & bottom margins (putting more songs per page), as well as adding top & bottom headers.

I have office 2003 and it came up automatically before. Not this time, but it still works.

Thanks,
Ernie

I have had this on odd occasions. On the bottom of the first page are there a few spaces before the next page. If so place your cursor at the end of the last line on the page and press delete a couple of times which should make the next page scroll up to fill the gap, in so doing it should scroll across to the other column. As you scroll through the pages you may find the same thing on them. in Microsoft Word you can use find & replace on the find click the special button and select page break. On replace select non breaking space then press find all. It will find all the page breaks which intern fills your second column.
You have nothing to loose just try it.

Use Open Office, its free and it is compatable with all MS office formats.:c

I mentioned Microsoft Works because it is not only free, but it comes pre-installed on most computers...... so, no download necessary.

Ms works is only free if it came bundled on your machine, otherwise it $39.95.
