4.04 slow to start video
 

Upgraded to 4.04 today 18th Sept and on my test run video files are taking about 7 seconds to start. Video on my insta buttons nearly always fail to start but worked fine in 4.03. One other thing is I can't turn off the marquee or singers windows in preview screen. I am running on xp with all updates. Are these known problems.

We can't please all the people all the time. Others wanted to see the Videos in the Preview Display, so we reprogrammed to do this... and it was a royal pain! :e

We can re-enable the Preview controls, but it would be EITHER exactly as the Show Display has, or IGNORE the Show Display and follow your Preview control settings.

I've asked one of our programmers to take a look at this since several users are asking for the Preview to be settable as "just lyrics" again.

Thanks for getting back to me Admin. Yes I prefer to see just the lyrics on the preview screen myself but am not really bothered with that. I switched back to 4.03 for my show Saturday night as I play mostly video accompanied tracks between singers and on 4.04 on my XP version they take too long to start and the processor seems to have to work a lot harder. I don't have any trouble with key change as my mixer does all that. The video side in 4.03 works perfect.
