lock up

I've been with Hoster for a long time paid lost of $$$ over the years I waited for this new version for a long time. Finley it's released so I down loaded it.Then I started it up added songs then hit play it cued up and then locked up, I lost a gig Friday night because of this and I'm not happy. I've tried rebooting and reloading it but the same thing every time I've called several times no answer left messages no return calls. what happened to customer service? I feel like I've been hung out to dry. All I want is to get this thing to work. please help:

so sorry to hear about your dillema,(but not to add salt to an injury) do you have a back-up system? if you do you could have use that , and have your gig going, till you get your pc running, and never upgrade before a gig, caused of something like this might happened, i know its a pain in the butt to carry all your cdg's or player, but having a back-up will save you, ( there's a lot of kj's that are waiting for other kj's to make a mistakes )!!

Thomas,
We are all sorry to hear this.

Did you know about 3.40? It's included with 4.03. It's in your C:\Program Files\Micro Technologies Unlimited\Hoster folder. It's called Hoster34.exe. Make a link to 3.40 and put it on your desktop. When 4.03 gives you fits, you open 3.40 and carry on with your show.

Here are some questions:

1. XP or Vista

2. Do you have Internet Explorer 7

3. If XP do you have SP3

4. Do you have the lastest drivers for your video card

5. Do you have all of the custom upadates for Windows

No worry. Similar thing is happening to me, and MTU has indicated they are working on fixing a few bugs that will repair this situation in 4.04. They ALWAYS find a fix, so hang in there.:)
