Will 4.03 have the tempo change feature. This is what I wanted most from 4.0. ... Am I correct in assuming this for when you change the key, up or down, you can speedup or slow down the tempo back to the original tempo??

If I'm reading the second half of your post correctly: Once upon an analog time tempo and key change were tied together. Changing the tempo required changing the key and vice versa. Everything is done digitaly now so changing one no longer effects the other. The key change in Hoster does not effect the tempo. Sam |

Tempo may or may not make it into 4.03. It depends on MTU getting all the bug corrections in to get everything available now to working without problems. My guess would be Tempo won't be in this one, but will be in the next one. All of the additional items supposed to be put in by 4.03 have had to be pushed back trying to get Hoster and Vista to play together nicely. |
I guess I am a "Rookie"..It sure seems to on mine...If I lower the key, the song slows down...What am I doing wrong or is my hearing that messed up??
What is a Tempo Change for???? Thanks for everyones help...All I'm doing is small shows for my wife's singing group at charities..... |

Play a song and time it at plus 5 and minus 5 with the keychanger, and see if there's a difference. Changing the tempo speeds up a song or slows it down, and again you might percieve a key change where there is none. It's not unusual. Sam |

The key change does exactly that. Changes the key. It does not speed up or slow the song down. The only time the tempo seems to come into play is at the beginning of the night and at the end of the night.
Many who have NOT had anything to drink seem to think the song is a little slow. Then later in the evening when they have had a "tad" too much, the words seem to go by very fast at times!:g Kelly:w |
