Coupon doen't work
 
Anybody have any suggestions on how to get a coupon to work in the MTU store. I got this email from Lynn Cox today. When I put the code in
it tells me coupon not valid.

To get your free upgrade, place and order for the Video Hoster upgrade for
$69.99. Enter check or money order as your form of payment, the in the box just
below that you will want to enter coupon code ####### This will make the
upgrade free for you. This is only good through the end of August, so please
upgrade for free while it's available.

I flagged this for Admin. They probably didn't get the store set up to take the coupons when Lynn sent the emails out.

Thanks for the info, I was going crazy trying to put that darn code in, I'll try again tomorrow I guess. Wanted to use it for my gig at the Nascar Race this weekend.:f

What coupon????? And how do you get one???? This is the first time I HAD to pay for an upgrade. I sent a request/question in as to why I was charged. Was told that if I had purchased the 3.321 upgrade, that the 4.0 would have been free. I didn't see where there was a charge for an upgrade, as long as you had purchased Hoster as of a certain date, and I have downloads remaining in my account.

If you didn't purchase within a certain date (don't know exact date) before release of 4.00 then your upgrade will not be free. If you did you will get an email from MTU with a coupon code and instructions of how to do the purchase. They just started sending some out today so may not have gotten all of them out.

Purchased my Hoster on July 2.:s

Purchase what? I have been using and upgrading Hoster for years now. If I purchased Hoster, and upgraded each time they had one, what purchase was I supposed to make?

It was a short time after announcing 4.0 release and actually releasing it. This was an incentive to keep people from not upgrading old versions even though the had been released for quite some time. We had to keep MTU off the government cheese while they ironed out enough issues to release 4.0.

Well, no one has yet to explain WHAT coupon, and how we were supposed to receive it. If there was a coupon, I did not get it, nor was it in any email or anything. Mind you, I don't mind paying for something if that is the route to go. But, I did not here about a coupon until I went to my account and had to purchase the upgrade. Hoster is a great product and I swear by it, and refer it to anyone and everyone I know. But, shouldn't the communication aspect flow a little smoother? The forums are great, and I know MTU has their hands full trying to keep up with everything and keep improving. Just to make things clear, I am NOT whining, but, would like to have things clear. I had attached a message to my purchase of the upgrade, and received a brief and to the pint reply from MTU. But, again, nothing mentioned about a coupon. Only in the forums.

If you purchased a copy of Hoster within 30 days of the release of 4.0 then MTU has sent a coupon to purchase 4.0 at a discount. Only the ones who qualified got the email. The rest of us have to purchase the upgrade or a full copy which ever you choose. So if you don't qualify then you didn't get that email.
