Can't import song
 
I click Import Songs... When it opens I click Import Hard Drive Files... As soon as I do that a box opens and reads... Error processing file: C:\Program Files\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster\Databases\bucket.mdb... Not a valid password. (3031) Would you like to see help? If I answer YES or NO, another box opens Hoster Application... Under the heading it says Hoster Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. Then it asks me if I want to report this problem to Microsoft........ I had a good thing and then I blew $69 on crap!!!!!!!!

Go to C:\Program Files\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster\Databases\bucket.mdb and delete that file. The new bucket was moved to C:\MTU\Hoster a while back. Your problem is you still have a copy of the old on and it is taking priority over the new one which has a new password on it.

I've been using Hoster 4 at my shows (five nights a week) since before it was released and it's the SH__, hands down. :c I've never had to use 3.40 or go back to 3.321a. I feel your frusrtrationn, PC's can be a pain butt without them we would not have Hoster. :e Hang in there and stay calm, you're fixin' to get a big surprise when 4.03 is released with the old player code. Your $69 was a good investment. :w

4.02 problems
<HR style="COLOR: #d1d1e1; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #d1d1e1" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I was having this same problem as well as a couple others that I have been reading in the forums. I did everything that everyone suggested and could not fix my problems. Finally I uninstalled Hoster completely. Went in to C:\Program Files\Micro Technologies Unlimited and deleted the Hoster folder. I also deleted the the MTU folder in C:\. Re-installed Hoster 4.02, restarted computer, opened Hoster (it automatically did a build songs database). Everything now works great. It took a while but I LIKE IT!!

Hope this helps others to correct some problems

I posted this in another thread as well in case it may help others.
