Temp Solution to CDG Import Problem

Run your show from Hoster #1 and play singers Disc from Hoster #2 It Works with no problems or Sound Dropout..

<DIR><DIR>1) Start Hoster Program and minimize it.
2) Reposition Hoster window #1 to upper right corner
3) If you are Not in extended monitor mode you will need to resize lyric window.
4) Start Hoster Program #2 and minimize it.
5) Reposition Hoster Window #2 to lower left corner.
6) Go to file and click on new to create a new play list, now click on file then SaveAs and Name it Singer Disc then click on the save window you’re ready.
7) Now when you get a singers Disc import it from Hoster #2 and it will not affect Hoster #1 even while running your show from Hoster #1 window.

Must have gotten lost in the Vista confusion. Thanks for posting it again. I may get to try it tomorrow night. :w

I tried this, the only problem is when I switch to the newly created playlist to load the singers CD I no longer have the lyrics screen from the song playing, I think it is because I have the wrong playlist up at that time????:?

Sounds like you are minimizing the playing Hoster while importing into the second instance of Hoster. That's the only scenario I've seen where the lyrics would go away, but could also be a situation that your graphics card won't support.

Hi Stublack

Are you running on extended monitor?

Two Hoster Instance Solution to Blank Screen

Hi Stublack

I found a solution to your problem when you start Hoster #2 the screen overlay’s Hoster Screen #1 on extended monitor.

<DIR><DIR>1) Position your arrow in extended monitor and double click.

2) You should see your lyrics now and your blank screen should be in your laptop screen.

3) Now resize that blank screen to the upper left or right corner of your Singers Disc Window so it will be out of your way.

4) Now you will be able to continue to run your show from Hoster #1 and import from Hoster #2 at the same time.

5) When ready to play singer songs already imported.

6) Stop Hoster #1

7) Double click the blank screen you originally resized in Hoster #2 Singer Disc Window highlight your song and press play.

8) When ready to go back to your main Hoster #1 just double click over extended monitor screen to get back your Hoster #1 screen. And you’re set to continue your regular show.

9) I imported twelve CDG songs using this technique with no problems while running Hoster #1.

10) If no more imports are necessary then just minimize Hoster #2 to your task bar until you need it again.

Good Luck

Joe....
