Can't upgrade
I upgraded to 4.01 on 1 computer. I tried to upgrade on my MTU bought laptop and it tells me I have the wrong registration code. I tried every code given to me since 2002. It will not upgrade. Very frustrating when it was very hard to retrive the laptop from an ongoing gig many miles away and now must make anothedr trip..What gives?

If you purchased the Upgrade then you have to have the previous version on the computer and use the upgrade option to install. Use the registration code issued with the Upgrade. That computer must be connected to the internet when you do this.

No Go
It keeps telling me the code is for another product. This would be impossible as This is an "MTU" laptop.

Upgrade
Here is what I did.
On the laptop I pulled down "Check For Updates". I then went through the normal procedures as always to up grade Hoster on this laptop. I am stoped when it tells me the code is for a different product. I then tried every code I have ever bought software for. It says the same on each try.......I am now using 3.321. I had no problem on my other computer I upgraded last week. Thanks for your time. I have to get this laptop back to the gig. Charlie, New Orleans |
you have to log into your store account at MTU.com and click on show all orders. view the details on the 4.0 download. in there it will tell you your reg code !

Finally worked..........I was apparently downloading before buying.

dont expect a lot from 4.0X
it works on some computers but not others, the next free upgrade should fix most of the problems. dont forget in the micro folder is version 3.40, it works perfectly. |
