Hoster 4 question
 

I just downloaded hoster 4. I was anxious to use the new features. I went to Import songs for my SCDG and the title is there but its not reading the cd...It only has one song and a duration time of 2hrs 55 min. My panarama SCDG are not showing up in the database. Am I looking in the wrong area?.When adding singer database/Favs, The buttons are not lit up so it will not allow me to click on them..Thanks for all your help....Rex

Hoster has never and probably never will import directly from SCDGs.
The only song files you can add to the singers database would be those you have imported with Hoster into the songs database from CDG discs or from the Hard Drive in MP3+G, BIN, and other standard formats. If you are trying to add them from discs directly then it is greyed out because those are temporary imports.

SCDGs have to be converted to a standard format by another (Non MTU) program. Best one I know of is called CDGFix. Do an internet search for it.

Bug In my Hoster 4?
 

I have use it for 2 shows now and I have had these problems...please help..
1st night- anytime I would add a song from my singers database, the program would crash..this happened 6 times in my 4 hour show.
2nd night - Click on the Icon on the dwsktop and nothing would happen..it gave me program not responding message. I tried to reinstall and it worked yet when laptop was turned off, I could not start the program again. I restored my system to an earlier date so I could get thru the rest of my night...Any thought? thanks for the help...Rex

Version 4 has another version included in the install. This is in your Program Files Hoster folder as Hoster34.exe. It is actually version 3.321 set up to work with your 4.0 registration. Create a shortcut to it and put it on your desktop. Then if 4.01 errors you can switch to the 3.4 version and continue. The existing playlist will show up as soon as you open it.
So you don't have to restore back to a previous version.
4.02 will be out very soon and should fix a lot of problems.
