Song editing

First I own 2 copies of Hoster. I use my home "hoster" computer to edit my songs. Having over 2400 disc, I strated deleating songs that are dups eventully that means i was deleting entire discs. this is all dome on my master Home Hard drive. How would I go about updating my work computers. Lets say i have deleted all the songs on disc #345, and through Hoster I have deleted that disc altogether. So i put my New disc into hoster using next number and that is #345. When i updat my computers with the new music what will hoster think about this #345. will it show both. because I deleted it on my home computer. or do i need to delete all secondary hard drives to get my songs the same. After reading what i just wrote, It doesn't make sence to me either.

What I do when I have added new disks or edited out some files is to delete all the kma files from my show machine and re-copy the entire folder from the master list back to it. Then rebuild the database on the show machine.
By the way the new Hoster has the ability to hide song files from the Songbook if you want to keep the "duplicates" but don't want them listed in the Song book.

thanks

So i have 6 to 9 hours of deleteing and reinstall the new song list. You are full of good news today aren't you

All I said was this is how I do it. I have about 1/4 of what you do and it takes about an hour for me to copy the files and about 20 minutes to rebuild.
The only other way I can think of would be to write down what you delete from the master and delete the same ones on the others.:g

Just kidding

Dle I was just kidding, when I said you were full of Good News Today. You answered 2 of my posts, and told me there was no shortcuts. A guy can try can't he.

I didn't take offense to what you said. In fact I am always full of good news on here it seems. Unfortunately it seems that whatever solution I offer on here is going to cause people to have to do some work and nobody (including me) likes to hear that.:g
